Starting out as a subcontractor in 1997, the Sweden-based Play’n Go casino software development team has grown to become an independent game provider of its own, with a complete suite of offerings for players of all types. A full-on bingo package was launched in May 2008 and mobile versions of Play’n Go games hit the market in September 2011.
As of this writing in March 2011, Play’n Go supplies about two dozen online slots (spearheaded by Viking-themed Dragon Ship, naturally) along with 17 casino table games, eight video poker variations, a couple of scratch cards.
Showing their expertise, the Play’n Goers have created quite the graphically-sharp catalogue. The online slots portion of the catalogue retains the classic feel of the typical virtual one-armed bandit but still provides a modern accent; see the excellent oceanic background on Dragon Ship to get some idea of what these guys can create.
Play’n Go table games are nicely straightforward and graphically correct, with variations such as one-hand blackjack certain to appeal to any 21 seeker.
