Stravaganza is a challenging table game, indeed. The objective is to outscore the dealer. All cards are valued at denomination, face cards are worth 10, and the ace scores one point. The player receives two cards face up; the dealer, three. The player now has four options: “Money Back,” returning your stake if your hand is worth five or less; Rescue Bet, returning half the stake on a total of 6-9; “Sit,” equivalent to “stand” in blackjack; and “Play On,” basically a double-down bet to take a third card.
Just be sure to play the “Side Bet,” which scores big on three-of-a-kind and 30-point hands. Three kings of hearts wins the progressive jackpot, and three identical face cards takes 10% of the big total.
