Cosmic Quest sequel outdoes original

Slots-playing culture children of the 1980s loved Episode One for its bonus round, a good ol’ shoot-em-up video game oh so reminiscent of those now sepia-toned memories of quarter arcades. Cutting right to the chase (scene), then: Yes, Cosmic Quest: Mysterious Planets includes another bitchin’ such game, this time based essentially on Scramble-type games which require you to paint-scrapingly maneuver a starship through a craggy cavern.
(Hilariously, the ending of this round comes with a screenshot of some seriously mangled outer-space hardware overlaid by a polite little morale booster reading “You've crashed and burned! But don't worry. You've still earned: XXXX coins.” Hey, the Os Man laughed.)
Cosmic Quest II keeps up the bonus-bonus-bonus features of the Rival Software iSlots range: The expanding WILD rocket is here again as is a “Jackpot Jetpack” bonus allowing up to 50 free spins at 2x multiplier once at least three of the symbols turn up.
An early favorite for an 2009 Os Man Award, I can tell ya. And mightn’t we see “Episode Three” before year’s end…?
